Lecture 9: "Imperialism and Mass Politics"

Professor Lynn Hunt lectures in this course which covers a broad, historical study of major elements in Western heritage from the world of the Greeks to that of the 20th century, designed to further beginning students' general education, introduce them to ideas, attitudes, and institutions basic to Western civilization, and acquaint them, through reading and critical discussion, with representative contemporary documents and writings of enduring interest.

'Another misrepresentation of Anarchism. Anarchism and its derivate were the main propelling factors of the two main revolutions (Russian and Spanish) as a well established political and social system. She just diminished the historical . political and economical significance of Anarchism into its pejorative context which in a broad back of history is a footnote put under a magnifying glass of the mass media for control.

she states that political parties didn't exist before the 1870's- but I specifically recall reading about heated battles between Whigs and Tories in 18th century England.
