@jacksonyoung456 you can use a capture card. they are easy to use and you can get a good one cheap. i have an easycap which cost me £7. the cap card itself is great quality but it does rely on a good programme on teh computer to work well, this would be solved with a more expensive cap card though

No. PlayTV is for recording Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT/Freeview) only.
Some games are now including video capture and screenshot capture, but neither RSV2 or CoD do. You need to use some kind of recorder (DVD recorder, for example) to capture output from your PS3.
Currently, both PixelJunk Eden and Noby Noby Boy support video capture, both with instant upload to YouTube also.
