[Sony Vegas 9] Gameplay Editing Tutorial - For Noobs

Alright, so in this tutorial I go over some basics on how to edit in Sony Vegas 9, Ex. How to split clips, slow/speed up clips, some event pan/crop tricks, and some good render settings. If you've seen an effect in a video and want to know how to do it, go ahead and message me with your questions, and I'll answer them to the best of my abilities.

Side Note - Sooner or later I will make a more advanced tutorial, and get into some much better camera tricks.
After that I'll most likely make a video on how to make an intro in Adobe After Affects.

hOW DO I PUT TEXT IN THE VIDEO ( LIKE WHILE THE VID IS PLAYIN ) ???

@EAZYLOC718 You can have multiple audio and video tracks in your project. Right click your storyboard below your audio track in that blank space and it should give you the option to create a new video track. Do that then put your txt in there then place that track above your other video track and both the text and the vid should show.

Err i have a question for you,

when i try to render a vid longer then 1 min long or so, it sais my system memory is to low, but my RAM is 6 GB!! I dont get it, please help me out...

@DeJona100 If it wasn't summer I'd probably remember exactly how to fix that :P But right now the only thing that comes to mind is that your computer might not be using all that RAM. I think the term is "Virtual Memory Dump" google that and see if that helps. If not, I'm all out of ideas. Thats never happened to me and I only have 4GB of RAM.

Well i checked some videos out and looks like my pc is already putting all the RAM i have into my programs, its 6 GB RAM!! and i cant even render a vid longer then 1 min.

Also another thing that worries me is that when i have nothing open, nothing at all, my ram meter says its using 30% of my RAM, and i have nothing opened!!

@DeJona100 Only other suggestion I can think of is to reinstall Vegas, there may even be something wrong with the copy you installed. If its not that then I'm not sure what it would be. Good luck :)
