  • i see the POD PRO in his rack

does he still use the POD for his tone?

  • Dino was messing with a Bogner Amp among some other amps when I was there.

  • ah....

cause i read that for this album he used Marshall MG100 watt a dns ome jm800 for the distortions + POD Pro for some others and all the clean and fx parts

....but is it true that the first POD pro/ POD 2.0 sounds better than the xt etc etc???

  • Its a matter of opinion, but the POD 2.0 is pretty noisey. The XT works well but is a little buggy as well. If your recording I would suggest one line direct with a direct box, and one line using your POD. Then Take the clean track and run it thru Amplitude or Guitar Rig and get the sound you want without all the static in the original track.

  • I love at 2:08 when Dino is talking, (I guess about string gauges?), and the cameraman just says, "...oh."

  • why the fuck did dino always mention that he was in fear factory!?

  • Dino is so divine :D Love his humor and spirit of generosity -- time, knowledge, riffs, jams and more... beautifully sculpted fingers and hands -- Wow! Great studio interview!!
