The 1977 Coachman as taken a rest for 15 months that's long enough. A little oil in the transmission and it even moves. This is the best 350 cubic inch engine I have ever owned. We went from Pennsylvania to Texas and back in the Coachman with no problems we put over 3900 miles on it and it never used a drop of oil not even in the transmission.

  • I just bought one today...keep us posted on your progress. she says "so it does move" great stuff.

  • @testbooster I hope you have some fun with it. My wife and me spent many enjoyable hours in that old camper.

  • Does that thing have hydro boost brakes? Looks like it?

Not even our 87 Ford 6.9 Diesel 26ft motorhome has that, it just has regular vacuum brakes.

  • @IDIDieselJohn Yes, that is a hydraulic assist breaking system. The power steering works off of that system as well. That type of system was a used for a brief period of time on the GM's bigger trucks in the mid to late 70's

  • very nice man!!!
