This sculpture is by artist Ron Mueck, i filmed this in Washington DC while it was being displayed at one of the Smithsonian museums.

Usually, when I go to a sculpture museum I feel like sculptures look real from far away, and fake when I get close...
With this video I was thinking "Hmm it doesn't look that real" then the camera zoomed in and I was like WHOA A REAL DUDE!

This is what happened. He was at a party,got drunk and had sex with someone and he woke up and his partner was not there.That is why he is naked and looks like that

Words can never express the wonderful likeness to the human form. For all intense purpose it looks like someone has been frozen in time.

Absolutely brilliant.....never seen anything like it..his eyes look to be following that woman. The close ups of face and body are staggering...I would love to see a Southern California exhibition at any time!
