Shooting the Ruger Super Redhawk

Shooting the .44 Mags I just loaded through my Ruger Super Redhawk. It has a 7.5 inch barrel, a Leupold scope and Hogue MonoGrip. The load is a 265 gr. gas checked bullet over 21.3 grains of W296.

@TheDishD The funny thing is, now days the .44 Magnum is considered a "medium" magnum. I can barely handle it, and have no desire to shoot a .480 Ruger, .475 Linebaugh, or .500 S&W.

@Cr0cket20 I actually have shot squirrels with it! Doesn't blow 'em up, just pokes a big hole through 'em. What is really funny is shooting the rock they are sitting on out from under them and watching them scramble! Oh, and destroying stuff like bowling balls and motorcycles and rototillers.

I love the looks of the Super Redhawk.. Ruger sure makes nice revolvers. Cool sound as you were squeezing off some rounds my friend.

@CampfireTalk Not really. I can load 100 rounds fairly quick, but I'm done shooting between 18 and 24.

@ScoutsNOA Brother, that's not even the nastiest load I run in that gun. I have a load for a 359grain bullet rolling out at around 1300 fps.
