Her rendition of "White Cliffs of Dover" was a sure winner every time. This city became a symbol for Britain's wartime bravery and was often referred to as Hellfire Corner because of the heavy bombing it received.

I always remember channel crossings being really rough when I was a kid, but it just doesn't happen anymore - even when it is rough they just rock a bit - I guess it's those gyro-stabalizers things they have (maybe)
