I never mentioned anything about wallstreet or unearned or protesting over nothing. There could be legitimate greivances. But the thing you can do that are non-violent and legitimate is ask, if problem is not addressed - quit that job and go somewhere else. The only exception being non-payment of wages, in which case the workers hold lien over the property of the employer.
Yeah, there are crooks on wall street. What does that have to do with what unions do?
@utubehayter Right, since according to you workers are just out to get the unearned, protesting over nothing, unlike the Wall Street investors that deserve 10000% what the average worker gets paid and are victims of class warfare.
As to your FYI, we'll just have to agree to disagree (honestly it looks like something you've pulled out of your ass). I'm going to bed, goodnight.
The dynamics of power have lots of similarities. Also, there is no "capitalist labor", it is just labor. Union dues are a lot like taxes, union bosses are like national leaders and strikes are like wars. And the worst rise to the top.
If there is genuine collective belief that a certain action needs to happen then it will happen. It does happen. The reason unions are created is for the same reason that states are created. To collect the power of multiple individuals under a seemingly worthy objective/guise, then centralize that power in an institution and then use the institution for personal gain even at the expense of those individuals who gave their power to you (or under such pretext).
@utubehayter It just sucks that there's no legitimate way to make sure this genuine collective action happens when it needs to happen. I never knew about the loop holes of workers unions.

@utubehayter Not "capitalist labor"... the "capitalist labor domains"! Domains of labor within a capitalist economy.

@CoonAndFriends2
No! Instead.. the employers should allow miscreants Red diaper babies to take over their property, just like Marx intended.
FYI, Unions have busted more skulls than any private employer ever will, even if he tried.

@GuitarMannnnnn Workers should be bullied by their employer the way God intended, not the state or their union.

@utubehayter So, unions are an occult form of big government corruption among the capitalist labor domains?
