Anita Mui and Andy Lau - Kawashima Yoshiko 梅艳芳-路始终告一段(川岛芳子)

This is a film made in 1990, about the famous (infamous) WWII spy Kawashima Yoshiko. I think Ah Mui did a fantastic job in this movie. And, it is interesting that they created this little role of a Peking Opera singer turned anti-Jap war hero for Andy, so he could be in this movie and be one of Ah Mui's leading men. But, we know who really leads here :-) The song is the theme song at the end, and is well suited for Ah Mui's magnetic voice.

One of Anita Mui's best movies. She was amazing as an actress and unparalleled as a singer. There couldn't have been anyone else suited to play this role in this movie but Anita! Thank you for sharing the theme song, I've been searching her albums for years to find it. Cheers!
