I am building a music synthesizer using cypress's PSoC chip. Current problem is the noise from LPF user module. After the detailed investigation, I concluded the ADC module is the source of this noise.
This movie shows how the noise changes according to the LPF2 cutoff frequency. At first, the cutoff goes up and down slowly, and then quickly.

  • I'm totally interested in your work- do you have a page up at all?

I'm just starting a similar project, at least in my head. I've not decided entirely what I'll be doing; it'll be modular/semi-modular, and it'll be built with microcontrollers. I've not decided which, yet. The PSoC is definitely a candidate, but difficulty in finding a cheap evaluation/development board or schematic has pushed it lower down the list.

Any info you're willing to share would be appreciated- thanks!
