@womblewandering This is a piece of traditional Chinese music of hundreds years old. No one know exactly who is the composer. As the name hints, It was played before the army go to the battle field. Nowadays, it was replayed before a few singer with lyrics to encourage young boy to behave as a real man. Many kung fu movies use it as the theme song. That's all I know.
