xR45MU5x: Yes, there are some. I found a decent German recording through Amazon. Canto General is a truly magnificent piece of music. By the way I once heard Arjo Saijonmaa sing parts of Canto General live, and she is great! Greece meets Chile meets Finland.

The lead singer is Arja Saijonmaa, who is a Finnish singer/actress, living nowadays mostly in Sweden. She has made a lot of excellent recordings in many languages. Wonderful! What a shame that she's not mentioned even in tags... She certainly deserves it.

She is Arja Saijonmaa, from Sweden. This song is on poems of Pablo Neruda. The poems deal with the conquest and commercial operation of sudamerica.
