i understand the mother feelings but i still think its wrong to destroy your child's dream because of fear, their is no evolution or growth without dreams, why did god give us brain to think, its because he wants us to think ponder create and make things thats how will be grow and survive on earth. if she just live in fear then she will never be able to live her life fully.
