Final Fantasy 8 - Right Here Waiting For You

Okay, listen guys....

First my disclaimer: I do own nothing, I just adore Final Fantasy VIII and the music.
I cut the video myself, but that's it. I also don't earn money with this.

Second:
This video contains giantic SPOILERS!!! If you haven't played Final Fantasy VIII by now, you shouldn't watch it. That's the mistake, I made, while I was playing. It really ruins the ending.

Third:
Yes, I think, Final Fantasy VIII WAS the greatest game ever. So don't comment things like "I liked Final Fantasy VII more". Don't even bother with something like that! I played them ALL and I still think, the 8th part was the best. If you have your opinion, it's okay, as long as you let me have mine.

Fourth: The idea.
Yeah, I guess, I'm the 6984368th user, who uploads a FF8-video with this song. I haven't watched any other, yet, and to be honest, I don't care. As long, as our videos are all different, it's okay, isn't it?
But I think the song fits sooo much to Squalls all so famous quotation...
"I will be here."
Why...?
"I will be waiting here..."
For what?
"I will be waiting... for you... so...
if you come here...
you'll find me.
I promise."

I lvoed this promising scene and I almost screamed, when I recognized, it were the words from the beginning. (Hey, I was playing in german, so the intro was still english and the promise in the game german. ;D)

Last but not least: The Story.
The Story of the video... Well, if you don't know this already, you didn't take my advice and spoilered you, because you haven't played FF8, yet. xD
Okay then. The story is like following:
Squall once promised Rinoa to wait for her at the flower field behind the Orphanage, whenever they may get seperated, because she had a nightmare in which she was running and running and still wasn't able to find Squall.
So after the final battle, she searches for him, but can't find him. So she goes to the flower field. And there he is, as promised but....
...he's dead.
Rinoa cries out and remembers all the things they've been through. How she became a witch and he abadoned his job as a SEED and witchslayer instead of leaving her at the Tears Point - he becomes her witch-knight.
When her emotions overwhelm her, suddenly a spell bursts out: Angel. After all she's the witch of the present, now. So Squall is revived...
This is how I interpret the ending scene of FF8...
But I still don't get, how they come out of the time compression and manage to return to the present... xD Maybe you can help me out?
