Do people in Shenzhen generally speak Mandarin or Cantonese?

Mainly is Mandarin, in the service industry, most of the people can also speak Cantonese

It's amazing to think that this was all built within the last 25-30 yrs, mosly less. My brother and his family are moving to Shekou, a suburb of Shenzen in about 4 weeks for 2 years to teach. I can't wait to visit them come this fall. It looks so beautiful all I've seen. I too am curious about what building this is filmed from and how high they are. It looks close to a 100 stories. If anyone knows, let us know.
