I wish Fuji and the Great Muta could have clashed. Fuji wins on pure evil trickery, but Muta may have trumped that with his caged animal unpredictability. Anyway, Fuji is still ONE of the most scary and psychotic heels ever. And yeah, that 3 count was robbery!

i met atlas once, when we were registering in the same motel. i found him a very amiable guy in person and as a ring performer even a loveable ring persona. beautiful how he sells this nerve hold. look at those facial expressions.

Saw a similar match live in August 83 with Fuji vs. Rocky Johnson. Fuji controlled almost the whole match and then Johnson had a quick rally and pinfall.

gotta love the "sinister" Mr. Fuji....he looks like a couch potato next to the hugely muscled Tony Atlas....you'd expect a total squash, right? well, fuji dominates Atlas with his trademark nerve holds and has the Mr. USA lying on the canvas in pain for quite sometime midway through the match at 4:14....Atlas barely escapes the win...if it was like boxing Fuji walks away with the upset win over the huge bodybuilder by points and domination! Just look at the pain on Tony's face at 5:50!
