Let Bygones Be.. was the first short film produced by Sir Reel Films in 2003. It was released on various websites to not so good a reaction. After weeks back in the editing room, the film had scenes re-cut back in with a few different takes used, and above all, a musical score (which the original version did not have).
The film is a nod to "Hitchcock" style films, hence the black and white style of the film, but with Sir Reel Films style. The film was shot on the side of a mountain in 15 degree weather in a day. The second day had to be cancelled due to even colder weather, so the ending had to be shortened.
All in all, Sir Reel Films looks at this as the black mark on our resume, but we're still proud of the film regardless. Looking back, we could've done much better, but the weather was way too harsh (in some shots you can see snow and ice on the trees).
Originally released in January of 2003. Redux released in May of 2003.
