  • I remember years ago I was goofing around with a Chipmunks LP and decided to play it at half speed. Face it, you can't do that with a CD! From my efforts, I determined that Ross Bagdasarian was the voice of both David Seville and Alvin! How did you do this? I'd like you to give more chipmunk songs this treatment.

  • Actually, Sr. Ross dubbed Dave and the chipmunks.

About the pitching down thingy, almost any sound editing program can do it. : )

  • I've always sung this song wrong. I always thought the chorus ended with "bing, bang", but on this, I can tell it says "bang, bang".

  • It is true. But remember: this is a remix, not the 1958 LP version.

  • @LeTuba Umm what's LP?

  • @leosnake100 LP = Long Play Disc. Google it! :)

  • LOL it still sounds pretty good pitched down!

I wonder if the same can be said for the newer version

  • the chipmunks sound like normal people now, and Dave sounds like someone hitting puberty way too much!

  • LOL at Dave's super low voice, and Alvin sounding just like Dave!

  • @LandondeeL Bass sax nothing! That's got to be a Bb double-contrabass Tubax

  • Cant have Halloween without this!

  • Thank you, Patton Oswalt for voicing what many of us did with our Chipmunks albums way back when. And thanks for posting this, LeTuba.

  • Great bass sax work! Dave Seville sounds just like Larry Hooper from "The Lawrence Welk Show"!!!

  • Its Satan and the Daves!
