i just bought one of these today, how do i make this sound?

Hi!

The first one you hear is a very simple TB 303-model which you will find presets that easily can be tweaked correctly.

How you create the loop is documented in the manual.

The second one is the exact same sound as the first one, but it's run through a external overdrive (for guitar, bass etc).

... I think this video shows the potential of the mc-09.... maybe by trying out a couple different FX peddles or an FX board you could make this unit Howl!!!

it loses the warmth and deep dimensions when you put it through that effect. if you overlay the two in a sequencer tho', that would give you best of both worlds.

I remember using the 303 back in the early 90's. Hooked it up to some German tape echo and then through K2000 on-board effects. Stumbled onto some amazing sounds back then, Nice to hear her again.
