my hard drive is not detecting and im afraid to "interfere" with the stuff and...also...i have a bios problem...when i try to open it up...nothing happens

sometimes....a thing comes up telling me to enter a password...

Man talk about going the long way around to see what's up with the HD. Listen first, cables, detect, Scan, then CMOS.

I get an inminent error on my HDD, itprompts to back up my whole data and replace it. Of course fore doing that idlike to try n fix the issue by myself, Ty in advanced.

i m tryin to install windows xp Sp3 clean installation but every time i run the setup shows the bluescreen tht u have shown in ur video above at 0:43.... wht to do in tht scenario....

Thank you so much for this video it help'd me fix a mates old dell optiplex pc that failed to find both sata drives on start up. followed the steps above and before buying a new battery i took it out for 10 seconds and it started up and configured the IDE drive and job done only thing i had to do was set the time and date everything is still on the drive pictures music ect... bonus.

You are a god in my eyes for helping me.

i have a sata 3 hard drive, everytime i boot my pc it says "hard drive not found!" but it starts up anyway, as normal, without any problems, and my hard drive is there, i can save and load stuff to and from it, yet everytime on boot up, it says it's not found, i'm concerned about this error message, why am i getting it if it's actually working?
