Merlin our new baby Congo African Grey baby parrot

Here is Merlin My new CAG baby this is the second time visiting him. He will be coming home August 1st 2007( he is being given to my by a friend). In the Video you can see that he is toeless. Well mostly. He has no claws/tallons. While in the nest box one or both his parents chewed his toes off, luckly he was removed in time before the parents did any more damage to him. He gets around pretty well and is a happy healthy lil guy. This is Merlins First video and I will be posting many more to show his progress and he grows. Hope you all enjoy him, he soo cute!

@Pantbera I don't believe these animals feel hate towards their children... I've heard of tigers killing their babies out of pure excitement to clean them off... They don't realize how strong they are, and one bite ends it. Same could go for parrots, but I can't say for sure.

How horrible. The little new hatched guy being torn apart by his own parents. He's so cute and adorable. Poor guy, being left crippled for the rest of his life just because of cruel careless and aggressive parents who hated him from day one. They probably would have killed him if he wasn't rescued from his parents.
