295. Whoever destroys, damages or defiles any place of worship,or any object held sacred by any class of persons, with the intention of thereby insulting the religion of any class of persons, or with the knowledge that any class of persons is likely to consider such destruction, damage or defilement as an insult to their religion, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with fine or with both.




The Officers of MBSA who demolished the temple did so without any legally enforceable order. This is a criminal act. The law is very clear. This is a serious matter. This country is run according to the law or it is not. If it is then these criminlas must be brought to court and convicted according to Penanl Code Section 295 and punished as the law states that they SHALL, in legal parlance it translates to MUST......


Will the Sate Government initiate criminal proceedings against the officers concerned. If Pakatan is any different than UMNO, then that is what they will do. Otherwise PR is no different than UMNO as far as the minorities in the country go. .
