Stephen Colbert of the Colbert Report visited Qmunity, BC's queer resource centre - known as Pride House for the 2010 Olympics - in Vancouver's West End. When he arrived the TV was on with Canada vs Switzerland hockey at 2-2 with less than 5 min remaining. After a short interview, he was out the door, body guards on duty, gone to the next Olympic party house.
Didn't get to pitch him my idea for a great shtick, so if his people don't call me soon, I'm offering it to Letterman. By Mari Kane

  • "Much like our PM"

    Ha!

Funny, but not true. Our PM is publicly cold, nerdy, and prudish. But he's eviscerated parliament, and virtually taken power for himself. All while only getting a minority of the votes. He's more Karl Rove than Bush.

  • @theknightswhosay Gotta agree with that one. He tried to have the same-sex marriage annulled, and then members of his OWN party voted against him on it. I found that hilarious.

  • Man, this dudes not funny, great effort tho stehen coalbear?lol

I don't see how that's not true then. Sounds like Stephen's character to me. But I didn't think she meant personality-wise anyway but being ignorant about gay issues.
