  • Excellent video. :D

What is the background music you used?

  • @SteyrM1912

Thank you. :-) Very old Russian waltzes. Minor key.

  • What's going on with comments? Every time I answer one the original gets removed. Looks like a software bug in youTube... Sorry I didn't mean to remove any comments.

  • I can vouch what ebu97 stated. Bullet Nose Betty is oil fired. She is under live steam and has operated in the Stettler region since the 90's (Sad if you ask me. See how fast she is going, she can go a lot faster than that!)

How do I know. This engine used to be at the APRA. My dad was a member when she was there. Maybe with my 4th class I can get a cab ride now, I was much to young to do that years ago.

  • OK canadianangel. It is an oil burner on low fire and it was a clear day, meaning low humidity, The steam wouldn't be visible either. The only steam trains I am familiar with were coal fired, and they were fully loaded except when at rest, then the panted as the reciprocated feed pumps were working. This was sixty year ago. Also I may have been trying to be a smartass. sorry.

  • @ebu97 This flat and even prairies route with only several passenger cars is nothing to do for the big mountain steam engine. It works perhaps 1/10 its possibilities. There is very little smoke, almost invisible. If you let it go up the mountain and fully loaded, this is when you see that black smoke.

  • Why no smoke? is this being pushed by a diesel?

  • Deer at 2:34 is like "holy Shiiiiiiiiiiiitttt!!"

  • ¬¬ WHY THE MUSIC??????????? EXCELENTE VIDEO BUT THE MUSIC NO,NO,NO

  • @SteyrM1912 It's Mexican Composer Juventino Rosas' "Over the Waves."

  • @Railskunk136 South Simcoe 136 is in excellant shape. She ran every weekend from Aug 1 st to Halloween this year. That comment just proves the point "it is easy to coach from the bleachers".

  • Wonderful!

    This must be kept forever...
