From February 26-28, 2009 the International Women's Health Coalition trained a group of fourteen youth activists on advocating for sexual health and rights of youth at the United Nations during the Commission on the Status of Women.
On March 6, 2009 after their week at the UN, three youth activists reported back about their experiences at the UN.
The youth featured in this video are: Priscilla Ikos Usiobaifo, Braveheart Initiative, Nigeria; Ivens Reyner, Reprolatina, Brazil; and Ishita Chaudry, The YP Foundation, India.
What a great video - really encouraging to see the next generation of passionate, switched-on (and, best of all, witty) advocates working at the UN level.
Love Ishita's comment about how cool it feels to be part of a real global movement at 5:28. That's how I feel about working on the 15andcounting campaign.
