Jimmy Carter: Wilson Comments 'Based on Racism'

Former President Jimmy Carter said Tuesday that Rep. Joe Wilson's outburst to President Barack Obama during a speech to Congress last week was an act 'based on racism' and rooted in fears of a black president. (Sept. 15)

@jimmi161 Fair point, however it was not based on carefully planned propaganda as the Bush Administration did. They mislead the American people with a bunch of lies leading them into a war that cost 1000's of lives and many seriously wounded soldiers and Araqi people. Which was a tactic of Hitler. Bottom line is, if Obama did what Bush did, he would have been impeached and they would have probably attempted to throw him in jail.
