  • This is a really underrated song. I love it when the music changes at 3:17. Gorgeous.

  • Saint Etienne have made some very very beautiful songs. This particular track reminds me of cupcakes!!! And of how much i love them!

  • @shrew972 The original version of the song I saw started at about the 3:17 mark and ended at about the 7:00. Sorry, but everything prior and following is CRAP! Strongly worded perhaps, but in accordance to which both mcgregor and stunio have remarked. Listen. Check out 'Return' by Siouxie and the Banshees. The live version recorded in New York. Now that, much like this, is a beautiful, underrated song. Regards!

  • @MrBounce01 you're insane

  • LOVE

  • Someone was in their right mind to have edited the first three and a half and last two and a half minutes of this song when I saw this video on TV. Within this version is one beautiful song, bookended by CRAP!

  • This is so lovely, I might actually weep into my tea... x

  • These song takes me to some past, i cant remember living...

  • For the first four plus minutes the metronomic cutting of the video threatens to strangle the song; finally we get to see Sarah at a particularly telling moment of her vocal, and suddenly the song knits with the visual, but not for long, and we're back to irrelevant imagery that threatens to subvert the sublimely subtle rhythms and images of the actual music. At least we can always go back to the recording itself and luxuriate in the pure sound, right at the top of St. Etienne's achievement.

  • 3 great tunes here.....fantastic
