A quick jaunt for a little fun. That is one wet place! 34/80 million gallons/liters per minute!

  • Dang, all i did when i was there was see it from that first angle you had, and then found a place to do my laundry. then it was back to Pittsbeard for work.

  • Laundry is important too. It's hard to pick out that you can see it from that vantage point if you aren't inundated by the tourist literature. It's also 13 bucks a head!

  • Awesome! There are so many great things to see in this country and nearby. It seems strange to me that when foreign youtubers come here they tend to go to New York City or southern California, but nowhere else.

  • I don't like to sound too America-centric, but I do joke that there's an outhouse in the Grand Canyon that I want to see before anything in Europe.

Which is not strictly true, but I can drive to the Grand Canyon...

My one trip out-of-country to Germany was a mild disaster. Mostly business, but I just don't fit. Can only wonder at a bigger guy like VanA!

It DID turn out to have been the same time as Re-Unification Day...

  • That is Death if you fall off.

  • Not gauranteed! Some poor kid went over with only a life-jacket in 1960. Luckiest kid at the time-- he must've hit the only soft patch of water to be had.

I wouldn't like to chance it, no.

  • I know what you mean. When I saw the Grand Canyon back in 1989, I was absolutely, jaw-droppingly awestruck. Neither words nor pictures can do it justice. I would practically live in an outhouse if it had a view of the Grand Canyon!

Also, I had several experiences with things being too small back in college. Desks, chairs, dorms, showers...everything was in miniature. I don't know how the football players were able to fit anywhere.
