@CJEChurchill the seeds from survival seed bank are TRUELY NON HYBRID HEIRLOOM seeds specificly for the higher nutrition value compared to other companies. Ive checked around and the other kits are just cheap seeds someone bought from home depot and repackaged(which realy are hybrid seeds which will not create more seeds). Better off buying the original!!!

@TagManpants At some point you have to prepare on your own for the short term, mid term & long term & they do have foods out there just for that reason. I mean if the economy goes down and you dont have at least 6mths worth of food in your home that is your own fault.Yes it takes a while to harvest crops but thats what food stockpiles are for.Can goods and non perishables last 2-3yrs, dehydrated foods MREs, & food bars last 5-10yrs, & other dehydrated foods in cans last up to 25yrs on your shelf

Hi! question - let's say the economy does go under. From planting till harvest, most crops take several months to be ready - what does one eat in the mean time? Also, AT harvest, how many calories will 1 acre of food provide - not a lot, especially considering those spent preparing and managing a field in the mean time. Growing might be a nice way to augment a diet, but being well prepared in terms of storage AHEAD of time would seem to be the most practical thing to do. Thanks!

@CJEChurchill I haven't been actively promoting that $149 survival seed bank for a while because I found something a lot cheaper, and I'm happy with that one. I was happy to promote the very first one because I didn't know any different, but after looking around more, there are sites that offer more seeds cheaper.
