Melbourne Shuffle definitely looks smoother, though I wont agree that either is better, they both take skill and initiative. :P

lol sok! when i first started, the only moves i knew were the basic 5 steps and a draai (180 degrees turn)...now i can do any move lol, but i dont recomend "patrick jumpen"...sure hes good but look closely at him, hes kinda repetitive...search "jumping job" or "chris aka twisty"...best two ive ever seen so far...but patrick is still good lol

Well i like more freestyling jumping,but hey even noobs need to start somewhere ;),search jumpingjef/jumpingjob on youtube if ya wanna learn something,or come to belguim and ill teach you girl's myself :) much love from belgium.

wait.... why is this dance choreographed? isnt trance or any form of dancing supposed to be freestyle? i mean whatever moves you...that is how you are supposed to move. why are there counted steps?

This isn't supposed to be freestyle dancing or anything, haha xD Have you ever seen a jumpstyle video? Like, a GOOD one? It's very choreographed. Mostly anyways, there are some REALLY good jumpstylists who can freestyle, but we're nowhere near that level yet. As you can see. x]
