ok person that says they are ina staet of fear guess what a bunch of people do this and it is just anothe way to clam their rabbit down so it isnt freaking out i mena if you dont do it the rigth way then they can break their back but if u dont it rigth then its fine oh yah so if it natual then y don t they do it at the house when they get scared hu yah they may frezz but when they get scard they dont lay on their back beause i have next sen a rabbit play possom unless ur a vet

They are not hypnotized or in a trance at all.Its only a natural response because its what they do when a predator comes around. and it does, in fact bother them. Putting rabbits in a trance is not good for them. Its a state a fear. They go into this state when they're trying to "play dead" for a predator. The predator wont have a hard grip on his prey because he thinks its dead, this gives the bunny a better chance to escape. please do not do this to your bunnies.It stresses them out.
