Curacao

While in Curacao, we spent the day exploring the island on our own. First we walked around Willemstad (where the cruise ship docks). Then we rented scooters to go out on our own. This was a great idea! We didn't have to stay with a group or follow a tight time schedule, we just did what we wanted!
We traveled around to the other side of the island to the sight of the Hato Caves. This was a very interesting underground tour (but VERY hot!!).
After the cave tour we knew we had to head to the beach. We were definitely far away from all the 'tourist' beaches so we really got to relax and enjoy the locals.
Curacao was a fun island to visit...I would definitely go back again!
