Uh, the Game Boy Advance had been out just a week and two days short of a YEAR when Shantae came out. The GBA wasn't "ready to be released," it was already in full swing.

Because for its time it was a game that was pushing the gameboy hardware to its limits, it was a really nice game, but the problem, it was released when the GBC was almost dead, because the GBA was almost ready to be realeased, so it didnt sell well, today its a cult classic game, and the cartridge its extremely rare to find, so the only way to find it, its buying on the internet, so thats why its so expensive.

For some reason this game reminds me of Wario Land, idk maybe because both games have a hot female pirate as it's main villain, but this game looks like it kicks ass one of those under rated games
