  • wow :O is that hard to do? and can that be dangerous? What if you can't get yourself up?

  • It doesn't take much effort once you learn the moves. I learned in about five minutes; other people find it very difficult. There's no danger in demonstrating on flat water like this, but obviously if you need to roll up because you're in conditions that capsized you, there's some danger. If you fail to get up, it's pretty easy to get out of the boat, but getting back in can be very difficult in rough water.

  • o cool. Have you heard of any cases where someone has drowned? But that'd be nice to try. Maybe someday

  • Drownings happen, but the most common cause of accidental death of sea kayakers is hypothermia from coming out of their boats in cold water. I would think Finland would be a fabulous place for sea kayaking, with the rugged coastline and all the large lakes.

  • gordo pareces una babosa jajajajajajajajajaXD

  • Just for that, I'm never having sex with you again.

  • how hard is it?? I am considering getting a sit on top kayak instead to avoid it, and they are very versatile as well. The Wilderness System Tarpon 160 apparently is a great touring boat for a sit on top, and just as good as a sit in.

what happens if you fail to roll in deep ocean, and have to wet exit, is it hard to get back in? do you need to drag the boat to shore?

  • Nice, gordito!

  • I leave in the fiord in Norway, I never think about do kayaking until I saw this video. I just have done snowboarding the last 22 years (almost 6 months x year, have a resort near my place). Sea kayaking looks awesome (tour- camping); Bud witch kayak could be the best for me? I am 1.70 mts. 80kg.. 45 y.o. Thanks for the tips!

  • yea that's true. And yeah Finland might be good for kayaking. Lots of cold areas though. hypothermia might be easiest to get in finland, haha. Another bad thing is that in winters, the seas are frozen.

  • well done
