Advice from an ex-user during 1972/73.
Don't listen to anyone who says it's good. Or bad. Don't listen to anyone who says it's mystical. Or not. Don't listen to anyone who 'knows' how to avoid a bad trip.
Taking LSD for the first time is YOUR call, and what happens is completely unpredictable.
If you decide not to, great!
If you decide to, read robjbray further down the page. His advice, although no guarantee of results, at least gives you a 50/50 chance - max - of it being good.

I took Lsd over the course of one week during the summer of 1996. doing one trip per 24 hours, then taking another 24 hours to chill, have nice bath and eat fruit and vegtables.
I took 3 trips in total it was the most magical thing I ever tried. But my formula is this : No strangers only close dear freinds, no candles or flames, no gas heaters or fires, no unexpected visitors, soft lighting and curtains when needed, ambient music not metal or hard harsh noise,s ice cream in the fridge for later

See this is what seperates good and bad trips . Obviously you are smart and prepared for your trip as you should and as everyone should . People that have bad trips i think are the ones that have not physically or mentally prepared themselves for it . I am only 16 years old , I am not indestructable , but all my experiences with lsd have been beautiful . People need to stop ignoring what people say about the drug and prepare themselves bottom line .

im sorry, are you my brain? do u have the right to tell ppl not to do something (drug or not)? no u rly dont, so dont say things like that, if someone wants to try something let them do it, and if u dont like it u dont have to worry about it, it has nothing to do with u

Teenagers should stay away from drugs. Wait until you're mature enough to make your own decisions, and when the repercussions of your decisions only effect you instead of your family. Not against drugs...but I've seen young people make immature decisions and end up making mistakes.

that's true but LSD can be beneficial during certain years when you are developing a view of reality. My own LSD sessions during my highschool years led me to realize the fallacy of modern life and materialism and how it degrades the psyche and spirit. That can be helpful in avoiding being assimilated into the machine.

Ive always felt like shrooms made me more prone to a bad trip than acid...the only more intense thing about acid is that it lasts so much longer.
