Colts Fans Unhappy With Starters Being Pulled

Its quite fitting the Colts got neither the perfect season or a super bowl championship out of 2009. The Colts coaching staff and management basically threw the game against the Jets and spit all over the fans and players in the process. If Caldwell was that intent on resting the starters he shouldn't have lead them on and let them play midway into the 3rd quarter of a tight game before pulling them. They should have spent the whole game on the bench if the plan was to rest them.

Every team will eventually when a superbowl, not all can achieve perfection....100years from now if football is still around, superbowl championships most likely will be insignificant considering many teams will have many superbowl championships, it will get old unless they create an even greater championship for the people's psyche and keep them focused not on things that can change the world....

I really doubt that, one thing different can change an outcome...the colts were conservative in the jets game and they were conservative in the superbowl (up 10-3. 2:00mins 2 or 3 timeouts)...and like the colts they fall back to their conservative lifestyle that has never proven to work for them, when r they going to learn.. they got conservative as result, spotted saints 3points (10-6)..it was all down hill from there, conservatism doesn't help, when r they going to learn...

If Peyton Manning and the rest of the starters were kept in the game and won and in the same against Buffalo we would've seen another 18-1 season like the 2007 Patriots going undefeated but losing the Super Bowl so you Colts fans should've been happy that didn't happen to you. And Jim Caldwell also said perfection wasn't the key, winning the Super Bowl was. And the Saints needed the Super Bowl more than the Colts did anyways. Peyton and the Colts can wait for another one

No thats football, only Colts fans think football begins and ends when Manning was drafted to the Baltimore..... oh sorry Indianapolis Colts.

I'm pretty sure being Superbowl Champs and doing it with such a GREAT interception will make the Saints be remembered. Personally I remember every Superbowl I ever saw, I also remember who won. Then their are notable teams, 49ers, 85 Bears, 76 Raiders, 99 Rams, 00 Ravens etc.
Miami had a perfect season in 72, but that wouldnt have mattered if they didn't win the Superbowl, Much like the Colts they had an easy schedule that year.. easier actually if thats possible. BUT the did win the SB.
Don't they get to rest their players during the bye week? To just throw this game away was ridiculous. Five years from now nobody will remember who won the superbowl but the team that had a perfect season will go down in the history books. The Colts will always be remembered for this and it will haunt them.

i think anyone who can see the big picture who realize with no good back up QB why blow a superbowl run. they are the best team of the decade and it will be seen this year in the playoffs and the superbowl. No one can stop peyton manning and the overlooked defense. to all the haters get on. true colts fans stick with their team and use logic
