Have you tried a 50's Road Worn Strat yet? I just got one and am really impressed. Obviously has some little issues to work out, but at $450 on ebay with shipping included I count it as one of my most impressive 'tones for the buck' guitars I've got in a while. Love your vids by the way.

@illusionfreak If it's a local shop, they are usually willing to deal, box stores... not so much. Though, the only downside to pedals is that the retailer only profits MAYBE 15% at sticker price so they have much less room to deal (as it takes a 30% profit overall for a business to be self-sustaining.)

i am annoyed by my fender strat too. it has little to no sustain. I am definitely buying a distortion pedal. or saving for a gibson melody maker.

well sir...I do a TON of trading and buying from the gear page, and when all else fails, I sell and buy on eBay...I also hit all the pawn shops, and lowball my local guitar shops for great deals on pedals they've had around for ages...try it, you might be suprised at what they'll take for high dollar stuff...
