Land of 1000 dances (with a chorus of Singin' in the Rain - it was raining and the crowd took it up straight away) leading into the finale of Can't turn you loose - join the Blues Brothers International at Cowes, Isle of Wight - 7 August 2011.
Wilson Pickett's version is perhaps the definitive recording of the song and was his biggest ever pop chart hit, reaching number 22 in the 1966 UK charts.
An interesting song in that the title "Land of 1,000 dances" is not a line in the song. But of a number of dances are of course named.
And the tag line is of course the Na na na na bit which here becomes the "Singin' in the rain" at 2.02
