Part of my dissertation research on the sub-glacial hydrology of Miage Glacier, Italy. From the output characteristics of this substance (Rhodamine WT) at the proglacial stream, we are able to infer the structure of the system through which it was transported.

  • Haha, not to worry, in the concentrations that it's diluted to it is drinkable. The only issue is when it is put into water with a high nitrate level, not something found in fresh glacial water.
