@Floppyfishh ooh thank youuuu!! and i figured it outt its so much easyer than the way everybody else does!! you just run it from the CD, select make USB startub disk... and allocate space for saving settings. easy ;)

man,u did nothing wrong... this tutorial does not create persistent install....it creates only bootable usb...

is there a way to put linux on a flash drive so that it keeps files like a regular hard drive would so you wouldn't lose your stuff?
