My review of the Powerblock Dumbbells.

Last week, I reviewed the Adjustable Dumbbells I purchased on Ebay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ycmeb80O7O8

Powerblock Dumbbells are awesome, and work really well for people who are interested, or who are performing P90X, among many other workouts.

  • Does anyone know if you can buy a powerblock 90 expansion for the powerblock elite 50? i've been doing p90x with bands and those are getting pretty annoying so i was gonnna buy these instead of a bunch of dumbbells. I was gonna get the powerblock 50's so that I wouldn't have to spend $700 dollars right off the bat on the powerblock 90's and I could just upgrade once i feel the need to if that makes sense lol. FYI i'm 190 right now.

  • @kkeyfish I don't think you're able to upgrade them, although that would be pretty awesome. You can also like at the bayou fitness dumbbells. I think they're a new brand, but they received decent ratings on Amazon.

  • LOL what a piece of junk just stick with normal dumbell WTF my 10$ walmart spinlock dumbell has served me well for the past 5 years. The only thing these blocks will make bigger is your ego.

  • @Trajiq187 You purchased a pair of adjustable dumbbells that vary in weight between 5 and 50 pounds, adjusting in 5 pound increments for $10.00?

  • Which one is better? The sport or classic? Still deciding which is which.

  • @iBlobs23 This is the only set of Powerblocks I have used. I would checkout reviews on Amazon. :)

  • @boxing101ize Who cares if they "look" stupid, bro... You're not buying them to look at them... Are you? I sure as hell wouldn't spend $300.00 to look at a kick ass pair of dumbbells. As for the "old time dumbbell set" at Sears, there is no way in hell you can even come close to what the Powerblocks have to offer you by spending $40.00. Do you know how expensive a single dumbbell even is, brother?

  • those 2 bars are for wrist curls

  • @iBlobs23 I tried the "sport" version at a fitness store, and the grip on those ifs very awkward, the classic ones felt like an average dumbbell, once you get past the look of them.

  • These look like crap. I was hoping for a more cost affective alternative to bowflex but this aint it.

  • @forerealz What did I say in my video? $300 - $400, I believe. It's been awhile. Lol, but it depends where you look. I would go to Dicks. They had the best deal I could find.
