even if the turbo is spooled, there is no load on the engine yet and the rpms drop when you let the clutch out and it takes a sec to recover. the other skyline may be using NO2 to make it come on faster.. or a gear change or the turbo may be a different model.

but if u look at the hks 4wd skyline it just launchers , the turbo shod be spooled by the time the light go green anyways

yeah, but that comes with the territory.. big turbo and stick... takes the turbo a few to spool. If it was auto it could ride the torque converter and build boost before launching.
