Dish Stirling Engine Power Solar Kit for cloudy days.
Enjoy to see the GT03 Stirling Engine running like a clock-mechanism, just by the Power of the electrical lamp inside, or with the Power of the Sun outside. There are a lot of interesting science experiments with this Stirlingengine possible.

  • Does the lamp run off the stirling engine as well? Is it a closed circuit

  • The pencil-power (150 Watts) of the electrical lamp is the input-energy for the stirling engine. The stirling engine running up by 120 degree celsius.

The electrical lamp is the substitute for natural sun. So it is possible to simulate the Solar-Stirling-Princip Indoor.

  • Is the lamp connected directly to the stirling engine?

  • yes, the lamp is directly to the stirling engine

  • could you share the dimensions and strokes for the major components, please? interested in comparing to my experiments.

  • Diameter Power Piston: 25 mm

    Diameter Displacer: 30 mm

    Stroke: 12,5 mm

  • @PierreKasp That is quite an extraordinary claim that I must treat with great skepticism. Can you show me a working example of this - or show me a method where I might reproduce such?

  • @curious883 some of stirling engines can develop 109% efficiency

  • I suspect you mean that the lamp is shining directly on the Stirling engine. The lamp cannot itself be powered by the engine. That would be a perpetual motion machine - not possible without 100% efficiency.

  • The engine would have to have more than 100 percent efficiency to do that. Sorry, it wont workl

  • Thanks, its a brilliant invention!
