Most amazing artist ever. You can't argue with that.

Someone commented w/o his original band it's not the same. Face it, none of us are the same! I saw Frampton in 76 and I saw him last week, part of his 67 city 2011 Tour. He is still one of the best guitarists of all time and he surrounds himself with talented folks. Those youngsters can flat-out play too!
Some things are timeless: PETER FRAMPTON!

If one really wants to hear true Frampton Tone ck out Humble Pie Rockin the Fillmore Live Lp. You will even hear the lick at 2:00 in this track , where he originated it from in the HP's "I Don't Need No Doctor " Its about 3,30 into it.
Pretty much all of where Frampton's awesome leads and sound developed from this time period of the double live record.
Let me tell you something they were loud crunchy and honest musicians.
His screamin solo in Stone Cold Fever (live) says it all !
