@Dirgantara72 mungkin cover hidung sbb tak tahan bau fuel. most likely MKM guna special fuel sbb thrust engine MKM (dan juga MKI) adalah lebih tinggi drpd Flanker lain (kecuali Su-35BM yang guna engine baru).
the SKM/MK2 may not be as powerful and capable like MKI and MKM, but its a very good aircraft! Su-30's are very reliable, have a very long range and can carry a lot of weaponry. perfect choice for TNI AU.

It was stupid decision by Megawati Soekarnoputri Administration to buy the four Flankers without weaponry and spare-parts, but thanks to TNI AU effort, we can arm it with local weaponry and lately Russian ones (including Sukarno's era weaponry).
Today we'll test a pair of Su-30MK2s to fly.

knp kerajaan indonesia nak beli su-27?, pastu aku de terbaca die nak beli 4 biji je, knp x beli su-30 punye version yg memang dah di akui antara terhebat dalam kategorinye (x termasuk su-35 sbb su-35 utk ruskie je). Indonesia kene berkorban skit beli la pesawat yg elok.

bukan busuk la...tapi asap die tu bertoksik ko tau x..lagi satu bau asap jet ni, x kira la sukhoi ke ape ke, memang sengit gler bau ni..aku pernah bau bende ni time kat umah sedara aku di kuantan..memang sengit..sbb tu korang tgk org yg keje kat airport pakai penutup idung. tosik tu merbahaya utk kesihatan..

Mengapa semua cover hidung? Apakah Flanker Melayu uses special fuel? BTW, 2008 Indonesia nak terima Su-27SKM/-30MK2.
