  • this cigar is mild in flavour and strength, best for beginners...

  • @DoYouFeelLucky im inclined to agree with you my friend. Plus nice humidor collection.

  • i smoked 1 of these last night and found the open eagle does not burn as well as other habanas. The taste grows on you through the middle, but the burn factor is still lacking. They are also on the softer side, for occasional or newer smokers.

  • @DoYouFeelLucky Wow, you must be some spoilt puppy to call this cigar "utter rubbish". Looking at your humido selection i can see you are spoilt for choice and you like a lot of strong flavour. However, that is not true of all smokers, nor does it suit all occasions. Maybe I tried it a long time after you giving it a chance to age, but I fond this cigar a very pleasant smoke, fabulous draw and very pleasurable. That is not to say it is similar to a no 2 which is a stunning cigar.

  • I saw this video at mycigar.info/montecristo-open-eagle.html :)

  • These are utter trash in comparison with many excellent regular production Habanos. A marketing gimmick lacking any style, let alone finesse, in the blend whatsoever. In fact, along with many professional cigar reviewers, I agree that these border on a shockingly amateur blend.

My humidor currently holds: aged Punch Royal Selection no.11 - Montecristo no.2 - long aged H. Upmann Sir Winston - Partagás serie D no.4 and P no.2 - long aged Cohiba Lanceros - Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robustos.

  • a lot of boxes that are 20 and 24 are to avoid foreign countries tax laws for example french, britain and italy all very high tobacco tax

  • september 09 not 08 you got it wrong....
