I would hesitate to bring a man to my home after just a couple of dates - especially if my child was at home. Your home should be your safe place and if things don't go well and he turns out to be someone that doesn't give up then your home could turn into some place that doesn't feel very safe. Not that I haven't in the past but that's how I can say now that one probably shouldn't.

Maybe you could hang out with your new man and your kid somewhere public - a safe place.

@hondacivic1992 stereotypical aren't we? Some single moms just didn't get knocked up, just as not every single mom are teen moms. some were married and due to many reasons they wind up divorced from their husband. I just happen to be one if them, and sex, that kinda came after marriage (you know the traditional way). And in my opinion, just because I am a single mom doesn't mean that is all of me, I am a person with needs and so long as I'm taking care of kiddo, I can be a bit selfish too.

All those women are very well known celebs and are gorgeous and I think even though they have kids most guys would stil jump at the chance of dating one of those women if they could so stop bashing women out there that have kids. Just coz she has a kid doesn't mean she not a great woman who doesn't deserve to be loved anymore.

Also for all those men bashing single moms. Beyonce is now having a baby. I know she is married to Jay Z but what if they split up. You telling me if you had a chance with her you wouldn't jump at it. Her younger sister Solange also has a kid. Britney Spears has kids, so does Jessica Alba and Angelina Jolie, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez and more.

I now regret it and learned from my mistake and wouldn't ever want to get pregnant again. I would also be scared if I lost my next child. Losing my child was very heartbreaking and I don't think I could go through that whole experience again. So knowing my story am I stil dateable or not coz Ive had a kid but i don't have her anymore. So what do guys think of women that are in my situation.

I also have never been in a relationship as the babys dad was a fling who I no longer speak too and I lost my child. I also know I was stupid for getting pregnant and not using birth control but the guy insisted on not using a condom and I was stupid who went along with it.

For those men who say they won't date single moms . I understand your reasons why as I never wanted to be with a single dad. I understand you don't want to look after kids that arn't your own or be with someone who has child with someone else. I understand that but what about if a woman lost her child. Like I have had a baby a few years ago but I have lost her and dont have any children anymore. So am I stil dateable or not.

Your primary function in life is to look after your kids or kid and rightfully so you will do that, however any man that comes into you life will be second best to your kids thats the way it is.But that man will have to take on another mans kids weather he likes it or not.I was dating a single mum and tryed to be just a good friend to the kids but it don't work! and because you not their Dad they don't respect you so why should you pay for a child who isn't yours.
