Ady Gil sinks after whaling skirmish
The Sea Shepherd speedboat Ady Gil has sunk after it was sliced in two by a Japanese whaling vessel during a clash in the Southern Ocean on Wednesday 6th January 2010.

@trip43065 No it doesn't. The ship the camera on turns right, making it look like the boat that was standing still lunged forward. No one was even at the helm.

The Shonan Maru is a slaughter house and runs under the guise of a scientific research ship.....
I support all the men & women who risk their lives trying to save a few of these majestic creatures,who mimic human behaviour in a lot of ways,the decent ones anyway and your wrong Japan is fishing them right into extinction get your facts straight. I only hope a more fanatical person makes it on board the sea Sheppard and blows the dam "scientific research vessel up.:) yea that's the ticket

Ady Gil lunges forward just before impact. Watch her wake, motionless up to about :14 and then what appears to be propwash and turbulence as if as she's adding power. This continues up to :21 when she appears to throttle back prior to getting hit. I'm no fan of the Jap Whale slaughter, but what I really dislike is media hype.
