the backboard goes full speed at 17 points, that is when you put your cursor in the middle and time your throws.

I'm sorry about the quality but i hope this helps anyways. You try to lead the basket with your cursor, and the faster the backboard goes, the further away you want to lead your cursor. then when the backboard is at it's fastest, park your cursor in the middle of the screen and time it so you are releasing just before the backboard bounces back from the side.
